The Bambai Security Service brand is well known in Mongolia. The company was established almost 15 years ago in 1999 and was the very first in its field. They install intruder alarm systems for offices, homes and property, connected to the company control centre for 24 hour protection. Their world-class supply of alarm systems provide a high level of security to customers and their property.
In recognition of the high level of company services, the General Police Department has issued the company permit No. 001 under the Contracted Security Services Law of Mongolia. The company’s stated objective is “to establish a comprehensive security network at the customer’s choosing from anywhere and to become an industry-leading company.” From their success so far, this is a goal that appears to have already been reached.
Company director M.Sukhee said: “Oyu Tolgoi is one of our largest customers. We have been providing them with contracted security services for over 10 years.”
The partnership, forged in 2002, has created around 240 new jobs with 360 company employees working at the mine on rotating shifts.
Working with a world class mining company which places safety as its main priority has given Bambai Security plenty of safety experience. The company enrolls its employees in Oyu Tolgoi safety training programmes and organises professional training jointly with the Police academy. They also have their own company training centre. Since workers from other nations come to work at the Oyu Tolgoi site, company employees are enrolled in english language training and are provided with dictionaries and glossaries to use if necessary.

Bambai Security Service has earned the trust of its customers and many awards, recognising the skills and experience of its workforce. It became a member of the Mongolian National Chamber of Industry and Trade and has been nominated as a Reliable Partner by the General Department of National Taxation. In addition, the company has recently won Oyu Tolgoi’s Supplier of the Month and Supplier of the Year awards.
