Meet B.Bayarmaa. She has worked with Oyu Tolgoi for eight years. In her role as Superintendent (Inbound logistics) of the Procurement Department, B.Bayarmaa has used her experience and skills to solve major challenges to begin exports of concentrate from Oyu Tolgoi to international market.

She believes that the timely completion of construction work was crucial but now, as operations have stabilised, the challenge is to focus on safety and support for suppliers.

She says: "Eight years ago, the Oyu Tolgoi project site consisted of a small ger camp in the vast Gobi desert. Today, it has become an operating industrial complex."
