Supply of “Made In Mongolia” Electric Products

“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite potential experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in relation to manufacturing and supplying Made In Mongolia – Electric Products.

[An EOI is only a preliminary step to a formal tender process to understand and identify whether there are potential suppliers in the market that are interested in and capable of satisfying the procurement needs]

The supplier will be required to carry out all of, but not limited to, the following work:

Scope description:

• Manufacture in Mongolia
• Improve design and material requirements

Made in Mongolia ELECTRIC PRODUCTS:

• Various LED Light: Estimated usage per annum – averaged 1,300 pcs
• Extension Cord (230V): Estimated usage per annum – averaged 4,000 pcs
• Electric Sockets: Estimated usage per annum – averaged 2,000 pcs
• Electric Cable, earthing: Estimated usage per annum – averaged 5,000 meters

STANDARDS AND REQUIREMENTS:

• Various LED Light: 10-12 type, protected from total dust and water ingress IP65, 230VAC and power 20W-480W, lumen 2200Lm-69000Lm, -20˚C – +50˚C, 50’000 hours lifespan
• Electric Sockets: 230V, 40-60Hz, meet related MNS standard
• Electric Cable: 10 types, Low Voltage, PVC Inner sheath, PVC Outer sheath, 230/380V, 40-60Hz, meet related MNS standard.
• Extension Cord (230V): F type, EN 61643-11:2011 Low-voltage surge protective devices, degree of protection (IP): IP20, T 16A 230V

Interested and experienced suppliers are invited to submit their EOI by attached “EOI submission checklist” and must include /or attach, as a minimum, the following documentations / information:

Mandatory documents:

• State registration certificate (copy)*
• HSE policy & procedures (copy)*
• Business Code of Conduct (copy)*
• Financial statement from last 3 years (copy)*
• Brief introduction of company
• Ownership/ shareholder information
• Executive team structure/ introduction
• Organization structure & Total manpower

Scope specific documents:

• Brief Business Proposal with maximum of 3 pages – should include the following context:
  • Project timeframe estimate,
  • Project funding source, estimated amount,
  • Proposed raw material supply chain,
  • Manufacturing facility location and estimated capacity,
  • Sales plan,
  • Indicative pricing,
• Scope specific experience of your company and/or your partner if any – 2 pages;
• Customer reference – at least 2 references;

Any interested supplier who is not registered in Oyu Tolgoi Supplier Qualification and Master Supplier (SQMS) Database must register at http://ot.mn/register-as-a-supplier-en/?eoi and must provide the registration ID on the “EOI submission checklist”.

• Detail agenda will be provided to only registered people through SupplierSessions@ot.mn.
• Maximum 2 personnel can be registered for a company

EOI submissions can be prepared in Mongolian and/or English and must be sent to RFxBox@ot.mn with subject “WS1359573943 Made in Mongolia – Electric Products” before 5pm, (Ulaanbaatar time) 29 June 2018.

Important notice:

• The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date & time.
• The Company will not accept any EOIs stored in internet storage or in any other webpages and links.
• The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company.
• There will be no Questions and Answers provided during the EOI process.
