Supply of Laundry Service from Khanbogd soum of Umnugovi Aimag

Oyu Tolgoi LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite potential and/or experienced suppliers to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in relation to “Supply of Laundry Service from Khanbogd soum of Umnugovi Aimag”.

[An EOI is only a preliminary step to a formal tender process to understand and identify whether there are potential suppliers in the market that are interested in and capable of satisfying the procurement needs.]

Scope description:

The Supplier will be required to carry out all, but not limited to, the following work:

• Capable of providing a full Laundry Service from Khanbogd soum (with a capacity to wash 5 to 6 tons of clothes per day in wintertime and 3 to 4 tons per day in summertime).
• The laundry service provider will be expected to perform the collection of laundry items from the Company Mine site and deliver them back after cleaning by use of own delivery truck.
• The laundry service provider will be expected to perform the laundry processing that includes classify, wash, dry, iron and fold laundry in accordance with specified requirements.
• The service provider will be expected to have a tracking system or process for resident laundry to ensure clear records a kept of laundry entering and leaving the laundries to avoid losses and possible mixture between employee clothes.
• The service provider will be expected to have equipment required for the laundry service. (washing machines, dryers, irons, delivery truck, etc.)
• The Laundry service will be expected to all chemicals, detergents, and potentially harmful or toxic substances are handled and stored with appropriate procedures and caution by its Personnel.
• Ensure that your operations adhere to safety and hygiene standards and comply with Mongolian Health Regulations and metrology guidelines.
• The laundry service provider will be responsible for ensuring the readiness and maintenance of the delivery truck and equipment.

General requirement:

• It will be advantageous if the applicant is registered and operating in Khanbogd soum of Umnugovi Aimag.

Interested and experienced suppliers are invited to submit their EOI and must include/attach, as a minimum, the following documentations / information:

Mandatory documents:

• State registration certificate (copy)*
• HSE policy & procedures (copy)*
• Business Code of Conduct (copy)*
• Audited Financial statement from last 3 years (copy)*
• Brief introduction of company (copy)*
  • Ownership/ shareholder information such as Company charter (copy)*
  • Executive team structure/ introduction (copy)*
  • Organization structure & Total manpower (copy)*

* If latest copies are already uploaded in “Oyu” Supplier Database, please make a note in the submission document(s) and no need to re-submit.

Scope specific documents:

• Scope specific experience
• Customer reference (at least 2)
• Special licenses/permits (copy)
• Human Rights Policy (copy)
• Human Resources Policies and Procedures (copy)
• Training Capabilities.

Any interested suppliers who wish to participate in the EOI, must be registered in “Oyu” supplier database.  If you have not registered in “Oyu” database, please register at https://oyu-supplierdatabase.ot.mn/. EOI documents must be prepared in Mongolian or English and must be submitted via “Oyu” Supplier database before 5.00 PM (Ulaanbaatar time), 10 April 2025.

Information session events will be organized according to below schedule. We welcome any interested companies and individuals without any pre-registration.

Important notice:

• The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
• The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date & time.
• The Company will not accept any EOIs stored in internet storage or in any other webpages and links.
• The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company.
• There will be no Questions and Answers provided during the EOI process.
