“Oyu Tolgoi” LLC (the ‘Company’) would like to invite potential and/or experienced suppliers/individuals to submit their Expression of Interest (EOI) in relation to Supply of “Generic Personality Test” Service.
[An EOI is only a preliminary step to a formal tender process to understand and identify whether there are potential suppliers in the market that are interested in and capable of satisfying the procurement needs]
Scope description:
We aim to introduce validated and tested personality tests to Oyu Tolgoi selection process in order to improve our selection quality and make the process more valid.
Generic Personality assessments are designed to measure candidates’ suitability for a role based on the required personality characteristics and aptitude (or cognitive abilities). They identify the extent to which candidates’ personality and cognitive abilities match those required to perform the role.
We are looking for but not limited to generic personality tests, leadership tests, ability tests and reasoning tests with the intent to use those tests depending on our roles requirements and level of roles in the organization.
OT will have Personality assessments that are validated and licensed to use in Mongolia and that will help find right people for our business and provide additional reference data for hiring process. The science-based assessments will positively impact recruitment metrics including quality of new hire, candidate feedback and hiring leader satisfaction.
In average, we are hiring more than 300 hundred people in the past 3 years for both Surface operation and Underground. Next couple of year we are expecting similar number of people to be hired. So, we will take personality test for our shortlisted candidates and average 700-900 hundred people are expected go through this process annually.
Following services included but not limited to:
- Online testing service – Personality test, Leadership test, Ability test and Reasoning test licensed to use in Mongolia
- Reliable online system accessible for 24 hours from any location
- Provide detailed test results in both English and Mongolian to recruitment team
- Provide the test statistics/reports to recruitment team
- Provide the brief test results in Mongolian to candidates
- Provide necessary trainings to the recruiters on the test and systems
- Talent matching and talent mapping
- Other test related advice and support
- Able to adjust and fit to Oyu Tolgoi and Rio Tinto values and competency model will be an advantage
Requirements:
The assessment must be validated and tested here in Mongolia and deliver Personality assessments for OT different role levels and required skill sets, easy to use online assessment platform, and reports available both in Mongolian and English.
Work Location:
It will be an online assessment.
Interested and experienced suppliers are invited to submit their EOI and must include/attach, as a minimum, the following documentations / information:
Mandatory documents:
- State registration certificate (copy)*
- HSE policy & procedures (copy)*
- Business Code of Conduct (copy)*
- Brief introduction of company*
- Company charter (copy)*
- Executive team structure/ introduction*
- Organization structure & total manpower*
Scope specific documents:
- Scope specific experience for each scope of interest
- Special license and permit that’s applicable for the scope of interest (copy)*
- Any other document and requirement if applicable
- Customer reference (at least 2) if applicable
Any interested suppliers who wishes to participate in the EOI, must be registered in “Oyu” supplier database. If you have not registered in “Oyu” database, please register at https://oyu-supplierdatabase.ot.mn/.
EOI documents must be prepared in Mongolian and/or English and must be submitted via “Oyu” Supplier database before 6pm, (Ulaanbaatar time) 15 Apr 2022.
Important notice:
- The Company is only seeking Expression of Interest from potential suppliers and makes no representation or promise in relation to procuring work from a supplier or suppliers.
- The Company reserves the right to refuse any document(s) which is incomplete or submitted after the specified date & time.
- The Company will not accept any EOIs stored in internet storage or in any other webpages and links.
- The Company will not be responsible for any costs associated with preparing and submitting an Expression of Interest to the Company.
- There will be no Questions and Answers provided during the EOI process.
